General
PeteFly82 of ACV (https://www.arrowcargovirtual.com) developed an ACARS/PIREP system (freeware program "ACVacars") for Arrow Cargo Virtual (ACV) to guarantee the fairness and objectivity in evaluating each reported flight-log. ACVacars by itself is an evolving iceberg. Pretty unspectacular seeming above the surface but with an impressive body of complexity and capabilities below.
Development status
Meanwhile, ACVacars has reached "Open BETA" status. It is possible to perform a whole IFR-flight with it. The pilot-mistakes get detected and assessed reliably. The transmission of the data to the ACV website is working too. Lots of bugs could be sorted out and some code-weaknesses could be resolved. XP11 compatibility was added in July 2021. FS2020 is supported since October 2021 and XP12 since January 2023. More than a thousand test flights have been successfully flown with and evaluated & transmitted by ACVacars so far. ACVacars will leave BETA phase in Q2 2024.
