Welcome to the ACVacars Online Manual

General

PeteFly82 of ACV (https://www.arrowcargovirtual.com) developed an ACARS/PIREP system (freeware program "ACVacars") for Arrow Cargo Virtual (ACV) to guarantee the fairness and objectivity in evaluating each reported flight-log. ACVacars by itself is an evolving iceberg. Pretty unspectacular seeming above the surface but with an impressive body of complexity and capabilities below.

Development status

At the beginning, ACVacars focused on Prepar3D. Then, XP11 compatibility was added in July 2021. FS2020 is supported since October 2021 and XP12 since January 2023. More than a thousand flights have been successfully flown with and evaluated & transmitted by ACVacars so far. ACVacars left BETA phase end of March 2024. MSFS2024 will be added after its upcoming release. P3Dv6 compatibility will be added as soon as true freighter addons are officially available for it.

The present online manual is work in progress. Its content will be completed step by step over the next months.
